”The spirit of punk music lives on a little longer.”
THE FMs are back with a new ferocity, recording and performing all-new material inspired by lo-fi dream pop, classic disco, new wave and post-punk. Following a years-long hiatus after the tragic passing of founding member Frankie Rex (he/they), the band has reformed with co-founder Matte Namer (she/they) at the helm and trans musicians Bubba Crumrine (guitars), Basim Hussain (synths, keys), and Nick Scollard (drums). The new live band made their debut at the first-ever Frankie Fest, a tribute to Frankie and fundraiser for Chosen Family Law Center. Since then, the band has been playing shows all over the East Coast, starting a new leg of their tour this spring.
